RECYCLING ACTIVITY

During the third term, students and teachers in the project have been working on recycling and preserving the environment. The main objective has been to know the importance of reusing and recycling as a strategy to appreciate art, creativity, artistic sensibility and the meaning of being part of the environment.

They have learnt:

• To identify what can be recycled and where
• Make posters about recycling
• Create a space at school to collect material to be recycled
• Visit the recycling centre of Valsequillo
• To do handcraft in the classroom with reused and recycled objects
• To make a presentation of their work in the form of the song “Despacito” in sign language adapted to our purpose: being environmental friendly.

ACTIVIDAD DE RECICLADO

Durante el tercer trimestre de curso, los profesores y alumnos del proyecto han estado trabajando en el reciclado.

El objetivo principal ha sido resaltar la importancia del reciclaje como estrategia para promover el arte, la creatividad, sensibilidad artística y el sentido de pertenencia al medio ambiente, utilizando como herramienta la lengua de signos y las manualidades, todo esto integrado en el proceso de E-A de los alumnos/as.

Actividades realizadas:

• Recordar los valores del medio ambiente ¿Qué se puede reciclar y dónde?
• Realizar murales sobre el reciclaje
• Crear espacios en el centro para la recolección del material reciclado
• Visita al complejo tratamiento de residuos urbanos Valsequillo
• Aprender signos de vidrio, papel, plástico, reciclaje…
• Realizar manualidades artísticas en el aula con el material recolectado anteriormente (trajes, sombreros, faldas…)
• Exponer el trabajo realizado a los compañeros en forma de canción en lengua de signos.
